Join four Ex-Mormons as we get drunk and journey through the many gaping plot holes of the Book of Mormon and other teachings of the LDS church.

We were all born and raised in Utah to faithful Mormon families. Like many of those in our generation, we have left the Church, but has the Church left us? We have created this podcast to look closer at the teachings, culture, and history of Mormonism. We ask ourselves, how has this impacted our lives and development? How did the Mormon church actually come to be? What was the early Church like? Is this a cult? If so, why is it still around? And, most importantly, are we too shit-faced to make it through this episode?

The podcast consists of four main sections: Cocktail, Scripture, Current Teachings, and History. Each episode begins with a custom themed cocktail pairing to fill us with the Holy Spirit (wink). Next, we turn to the Standard Works and attempt to make sense of what the “most correct book” actually teaches. Then, we take a closer look at modern Church teachings on the subject and how they measure up. Finally, we learn more about the history surrounding Joseph Smith’s life and the beginnings of Mormonism from the perspective of those outside of the Church, through historical records, newspapers, and any other reputable sources.
